Is It THAT Important?

Women need a Tdap vaccine for every pregnancy. As important as protecting oneself is against tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis (whooping cough), protecting newborns from these infections is vital. Diphtheria and pertussis infections are deadly to newborns. Vaccinations limit the severity and the spread of disease. Protect your baby: get your vaccination, and if expired have family members and care providers get theirs, too. It's that important!

* Our clients delivering at John Muir Hospital will be required to get this vaccine for the protection their nursery.
